Dr. Hung Jen Kuo is an assistant professor in the Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology and Special Education at Michigan State University (MSU). His research centers on leveraging technology to enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. Dr. Kuo's contributions include several intervention projects targeting individuals with disabilities. Notable examples are the validation of a mobile job coaching application aimed at enhancing workplace performance and a virtual reality meditation program for improving work engagement and mental health outcomes. In addition, Dr. Kuo has worked on projects leveraging video game technology to enhance both physical and psychological health of those with disabilities. He serves as director of the Games, Rehabilitation, Education, and Assistive Technology laboratory (GREAT Lab).
